Penrickton Center for Blind Children
Penrickton Center for Blind Children is a unique, private non-profit agency, providing five-day residential, day care, and consultation/evaluation services to blind, multi-disabled children ages one through twelve. Each program is individually designed to promote independence in all aspects of daily living. Penrickton Center utilizes its experience and expertise to train and serve families, children and professionals through support services, education and advocacy.
Lions Hearing Center of Michigan
Our mission is to serve the hearing needs of the community and the medically underserved in Michigan.
Our goals are to:
· improve hearing health care in Michigan
· provide education and social services to assist the hearing impaired
· further develop research to help rehabilitate, cure and prevent hearing loss and related disorders.
Beaumont Silent Children’s Fund
Beaumont's Center for Childhood Speech and Language Disorders was established in 1972 to help children with speech and language disorders learn to communicate. As one of the largest hospital-based children's speech and language centers in the United States, they provide a variety of specialty care programs for children with speech and language disorders such as:

Leader Dog School for the Blind
This complex is home to students, dogs, all service departments and the support staff that enable Leader Dog to enhance the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals from all over the world. Their goal is to be recognized as a full service resource center for individuals who are blind and visually impaired. Their vision is to become the most innovative and forward-thinking organization in the profession. With consistent support and expansion of their services, they are well on their way.

The Michigan Eye-Bank is a division of Midwest Eye-Banks, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the restoration of sight. They recover, evaluate and distribute human eye tissue for transplantation. As part of their mission, They support preliminary research into the causes and cures of blinding eye conditions. Through public and professional education programs, they encourage people to learn about eye, organ and tissue donation.
Theybelieve education is the key to making an informed decision about donation, and it is also an important way for them to secure funding for the community services they provide. They also provide humanitarian aid to those unable to afford transplantation procedures, both at home and abroad, by waiving their service fees when a charitable need exists.

Lions Visually Impaired Youth Camp (Bear Lake Camp)
Lions Bear Lake Camp is owned and operated by Lions Visually Impaired Youth Camp, Inc., a Non Profit Corporation. The camp opened its doors in July, 2000. It is financially supported by Lions, Lioness and Leos throughout Michigan. They aspire to provide a premiere outdoor recreational/educational facility providing opportunities for people of special needs to enhance self-worth, attain independence, acquire social skills and realize their full potential as human beings. Bear Lake Camp is dedicated to working with the greater community and include them as a partner in addressing the needs of society. They provide an atmosphere that is wholesome, and encourages awareness and appreciation of the natural environment.
The Lions of Michigan Service Foundation (Lions of Michigan Foundation) was created in the early 1980's to address the needs of disadvantaged people in Michigan. The Foundation is a tax-exempt Public Charity that works in partnership with the Lions Clubs of Michigan to address serious human needs within communities that are beyond the capabilities of most individual Lions Clubs and other community service organizations.
The Lions of Michigan Service Foundation provides access to affordable medical care for the uninsured and underinsured and provides programs designed to improve youth development and community development and to foster the independence of the disabled and elderly.
